A confidential counselling service delivered by qualified Allied Health professionals, focused on solution-building for barriers in your life.
WHO IS THIS SERVICE?
Career Counselling is suitable for eligible Sureway Workforce Australia and Disability Employment Services (DES) job seekers who want to overcome barriers holding them back from finding or keeping a job so that they can improve their wellbeing and achieve their career goals.
HOW CAN THIS HELP ME TO FIND AND KEEP A JOB?
Our one-on-one sessions will help you uncover the things that hold you back. Sessions will help you to focus on solution-building for these circumstances.
Your sessions will help you to increase the frequency of useful behaviours to improve your life in a positive way. We can also support you to access further supports and services that will increase your chances of success.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM MY PROGRAM?
We understand that everyone is unique. Your personal program will be tailored to your individual goals. The length of your program will be guided by your individual needs.
Career Counselling can help you to:
- Identify areas that are holding you back
- Achieve positive change in your life
- Establish a plan to reach your goals
- Access other local community services that are relevant to your goals
You can choose to meet with your dedicated Allied Health professional by phone or video conference. This means that you can access the services that you need from your own home or where you feel most comfortable.
HOW MUCH DOES THIS SERVICE COST?
This service is provided at no cost to eligible job seekers that are currently registered with Sureway Employment & Training.
