COVID-19: Update from CEO Matthew Hall
Sureway remain open for business and are focused on supporting our clients, staff and communities through this difficult period.
I would like to take this opportunity to assure our clients, new and existing, that Sureway will remain open for business and are focused on providing access to the services you need at this time.
Our priority remains to protect the health and wellbeing of all clients and staff while continuing to provide essential services to our communities. We have been closely following advice from the Australian Government, and as such have implemented measures to ensure that you can access the services and support that you need.
Phone & Digital Servicing
Sureway have moved to phone and digital servicing. This means that you can still access the services and support you need to find or stay in work, and recruit and maintain staff, via phone or email.
It is important to us that you continue to receive the support you need to find, apply for, and keep work, as well as staying on track with any courses or programs you may be participating in.
There have been a range of employment opportunities arise across the country in a variety of industries. I strongly encourage all of our clients to stay engaged with your Consultant during this time. Your local team are ready and available to assist you.
In addition, we are reviewing options to provide our clients with access to pre-employment preparation and learning opportunities remotely. Some of these learning opportunities are available now via our Registered Training Organisation, Sureway Skills Training.
Support for those affected
This has certainly been an unprecedented time.
I encourage anyone impacted during this period to access the services of Lifeline (13 11 14), Beyond Blue (1300 224 636) or other local support services, and remember to check-in on family and friends by phone.
For those seeking financial support, you can stay up-to-date with information from the Australian Government on financial assistance packages available to both individuals and businesses.
